Yes, that’s right! The Plant Bus is for hire. If you’re looking to host a collaborative pop-up, book the bus for your special event or even host a field trip at your school, read the parameters below and fill out the application. Once your application is submitted, I will review it within the week, and you’ll be hearing from me!
A FEW PARAMETERS TO KNOW
Requirements to Pop-Up:
Travel Range - Currently, the bus travels in South Central KS only.
Space to Park - The bus measures 8x24’ once parked. Please, allow room for parking. (Usually, the bus takes up three standard parking spaces once parked and needs the equivalent of four to five parking space widths to pull in.)
Set-Up & Tear-Down Time - I need up to one hour before and after the event to set-up.
Parking Location - Bus doors must open onto a crosswalk, sidewalk or have an extra parking space to allow for safe entrance and exit of customers.
Cancellation Policy - I have the right to postpone or cancel pop-ups up to 24 hours prior to the booked event due to severe weather conditions (ie. snow, thunderstorms, extreme temperatures, other Kansas stuff). I also have the right to postpone or cancel booked pop-ups at any time prior to the event due to mechanical issues with the bus.
Sales Minimum - Unless waived, a sales minimum will be imposed for each event. In such cases, my host guarantees $500/weekday event, $600/Sunday event, $1500/Saturday event. The dollar amount can be reconciled by host’s purchase of merchandise from the Plant Bus. Reach out if you have questions about how my minimum works.

The nearer the bus entrance can be to host business’s entrance, the more effective and safe the event is for both parties.
Events are much more successful with collaborative marketing. Please promote the event to your customer base on social media and/or email list at least one week prior to the event. I will work to do the same.
