If you’d like to keep your strawberry patch under control without risk of the pesky runners taking over your garden, ‘Fresca’ is for you! Specially adapted for container use, Strawberry ‘Fresca’ can be planted in ground or in your favorite pot. I have individual plants available or ready-made hanging baskets!
‘Fresca’ is an ever-bearing day neutral strawberry, which means that it blooms all season and should produce fruit as long as it is supported with good nutrients, sunlight and warmth. This is one of the only strawberry varieties that is known to produce fruit after being propagated by seed.

A Note from the Grower
Who doesn’t want a strawberry patch to pick from all summer long? There’s nothing like a fresh picked strawberry! They taste so sweet, you almost think they’re not real. This year, I have added strawberry to my catalog to try something new. P.S. Did I mention that pollinators LOVE strawberry blooms?
My research on this particular strawberry cultivar and my K-State fruit production class paid off last season. Head to my Plant Guide to learn more about what information I have gathered on caring for strawberries.
